NEW DELHI — The Kerala Higher Secondary Education Board will provide multiple channels for Class 12 students to access their examination results in 2026, including a text message service that will allow candidates to verify their qualifying status without internet connectivity, according to reports.

The SMS facility represents an alternative to the conventional method of downloading scorecards through designated websites, ensuring that students in areas with limited internet infrastructure can promptly receive their results. The board typically releases Plus Two results in the month of May, following the completion of examinations held across the state in March and April.

Kerala has consistently maintained high pass percentages in its higher secondary examinations, with the state's education system regarded as one of the most robust in the country. The board conducts examinations for approximately three lakh students annually across various streams including humanities, commerce, and science.

Students will require specific login credentials to access their detailed scorecards through the official web portals, while the SMS service will provide immediate confirmation of pass or fail status. The Kerala Board has historically embraced technology to facilitate result dissemination, having introduced online result platforms more than a decade ago to reduce congestion at physical verification centres.
