NEW DELHI — Bundelkhand University has made available the admit cards for the Uttar Pradesh Bachelor of Education Joint Entrance Examination 2026, with the examination scheduled to take place on May 31. Candidates who have registered for the entrance test can now access and download their hall tickets through the official portal.

The BEd Joint Entrance Examination serves as the gateway for admission to two-year teacher training programmes across colleges and universities in Uttar Pradesh. The state-level examination is conducted annually to screen candidates seeking entry into Bachelor of Education courses, which qualify graduates to teach at secondary and senior secondary levels in schools.

Bundelkhand University, headquartered in Jhansi, has been entrusted with the responsibility of conducting this year's entrance examination. The admit card contains crucial information including the candidate's examination centre, roll number, reporting time, and specific instructions to be followed on the test day. Candidates are advised to verify all details printed on their hall tickets and carry valid identification documents along with the admit card to the examination venue.

The examination assumes significance as Uttar Pradesh, being India's most populous state, has substantial demand for trained teachers across its extensive network of government and private schools. Admission to BEd programmes is highly competitive, with thousands of candidates appearing for limited seats available in recognised institutions.
